SUMMARY:Advent Study
DESCRIPTION:At Christmas we not only celebrate the birth of Christ\, but also the fact that God has come to dwell with us. But how do we connect with that presence and enable it to lead us\, teach us\, guide us\, and assure us? \nIn the 17th century\, Brother Lawrence\, a humble monastic cook\, discovered how to encounter God’s presence in his everyday mundane tasks\, and his reflections have become a classic in Christian literature. \nJoin us for a 4-week study of Brother Lawrence’s reflections along with scriptures that lead us to practice Emmanuel\, God with Us\, in our lives. The classes will be offered weekly in person and online on Wednesday’s at 6:30p and Friday’s at 11a beginning on December 1. The book can be accessed for free online at https://ccel.org/ccel/lawrence/practice/practice. \nhttps://meet.google.com/cne-kuuw-yvg
