SUMMARY:Sunday Worship
DESCRIPTION:Worship starts at 10 am. \nHave you ever found yourself in a situation that you initially thought you could handle on your own\, but later came to realize that you couldn’t? We’ve all been there. Whether it’s tacking a home improvement project\, taking on extra responsibilities at work\, dealing with a situation at home\, handling your own health\, etc.\, we all try our best to deal with it until we can’t. \nSo what’s a person to do? When do you realize that you’ve bitten more than you can chew? Gotten in over your head? How do you know when to call for help? \nUnfortunately\, there’s something in the human makeup that makes us believe that we should try to handle everything on our own and not “burden” anyone with our problems. Somehow we’ve gotten it into our heads that God created us to be self sufficient. But the reality is that there are many things in life that we were not designed to handle by ourselves. \nThis Sunday\, as we continue to explore the foundational stories of our faith in Genesis\, we’ll come to understand that when it comes to our salvation\, we’re In Over Our Heads. With that realization in hand\, we’ll also discover the liberating power that comes from seeking the help that God offers us in Jesus the Christ. We hope that you will make time to be present with us in worship at 10 a.m. online or in-person. \nIn-Person and Online Worship is available. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic\, we ask if you are attending in-person\, to please wear a mask and follow CDC guidelines. If you do not feel well\, and have symptoms related to COVID-19 or were possibly exposed\, we ask that you attend church through our multiple online worship platforms. \nIn-Person: 10 Stillwater Road\, Blairstown\, NJ \nOnline: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorship on Facebook Live\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorship on Youtube

SUMMARY:Sunday Worship
DESCRIPTION:Worship starts at 10 am. \n\n\n\n\n\nOver the past 5 weeks\, we have been marveling with awe and wonder at the incredible world that God has made for each of us and exploring the many pathways that God offers to embrace the life we have been given and live it to the fullest. We’ve been reminded about the freedom God give us to choose God’s way or our own short-sighted ways; the wisdom that God freely shares with us if we choose to learn from it; the image that we’ve been created in and our call to bear God’s image well in the world by following in his ways; and the desire that our Creator has placed within each of our hearts with a warning of the consequences we will bear when we focus our desire in a way that does not align with God. And last week\, we looked at the many ways that God defends his good creation against the misdeeds of human beings and remembered with hope that God does not settle for the status quo\, and does not want us to settle for it either. \nHaving established this firm foundation\, this week we will look at the blessings that God bestows on us daily and wonder\, why? Why does God bless you? What is the purpose in God’s blessings? What does God want us to do with the blessings that we’re given? How we answer these questions will direct impact on the vibrancy of life we experience in life. \nWe hope that you will make time to be present with us in worship at 10 a.m. online or in-person as we explore the many ways that God is Plotting Goodness in our world. \n\n\n\n\n\nIn-Person and Online Worship is available.

\nDo you ever feel like it’s too late to do something in your life? Maybe you’ve wanted to improve your health\, or learn a new skill. Perhaps you’re in a job that no longer brings you joy\, or you want to restore a relationship. Maybe you always wanted to take a trip or do something on your bucket list. Whatever it may be\, sometimes we look at our life and just feel like it’s too late. While there maybe instances in our life where we can no longer do the things we once did\, or that we aspired to do\, many times\, and perhaps most times\, the biggest limitation lies in our heads. Abraham and Sarah knew a thing or two about feeling like it was too late for them to do some things. And they even dared to believe that it was too late for God to do some things. But that certainly wasn’t the case. As you join us for worship this week\, think about the situations in life where you tell yourself it’s too late. What would it be like to dare to look at those same situations with hope and possibility? We hope that you will make time to be with us in worship at 10 a.m. online or in-person as we proclaim that It’s Not Too Late.
