SUMMARY:Sunday Worship
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Sunday Worship at 10 am! Online or In-Person. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you’ve watched many advertisements for cars lately\, perhaps you’ve noticed something a trend. Instead of telling you all of the features and benefits their cars have to offer consumers\, automobile manufacturers have begun to sell a lifestyle. Buy this pickup truck\, and you can be a part of the rugged American western frontier; buy this sports car\, and you too can live life in the fast lane; buy this SUV\, and you can join the off road adventure in the wilderness. \nAs appealing as these advertising claims are\, I have discovered that my life remains largely unchanged after I purchase a new car\, regardless of what body style it is or who manufacturers it. Did I do something wrong to miss out on their promises? No. It just proves that in order to bring about change in my life\, it requires more than a different set of keys (or key fob). \nThe adventure of faith that Jesus invites us all on can be much like the experience of buying a new car. Many come to faith believing that it will forever change their life\, but instead they discover that their lives go largely unchanged. What about this transformation that they heard about? Joining the adventure that is our faith is more than just claiming the name “Christian” – it is about a commitment to a way of living and experiencing life. \nThis Sunday\, as we continue our journey into the year 2022\, we invite you to join us in considering Jesus’ invitation to follow him on an adventure. Like many treks\, this one will require you to leave the quiet familiarity of life as you know it\, but in exchange you will open your eyes to experience the world in a new and exciting way! We hope you will say “yes” to the invitation by joining us for worship online or in person this Sunday at 10:00. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorship on Facebook Live\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorship on Youtube\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSacramental Sunday\nThis Sunday\, worshippers will have the opportunity to participate in our 2 sacraments: baptism and communion. For those joining us from home\, we invite you to bring a bowl of water as well as juice and bread to your worship space in order to participate with us.

SUMMARY:Sunday Worship
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Sunday Worship at 10 am! Online or In-Person. We asked that if you are attending in-person\, to please wear a mask in our facility. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExperienced or witnessed any miracles lately? For some\, the miraculous happens when their favorite teams win a game they didn’t expect to win; for others\, it might be the healing of a loved one who wasn’t expected to come home; still others experience a miracle when their teenage son or daughter wakes up early enough to make the bus! Regardless of how we define a miracle\, most of us at one time or another have declared something to be a miracle. \nOur scriptures are filled with miraculous stories – stories that supersede the laws of nature and science and go beyond our concept of what is possible. How do you receive these stories and what role do they play in your faith? \nThis Sunday\, we will consider some of the miraculous stories of the gospels and consider how we might move beyond the debate between belief and disbelief and into the possibilities that exist for all of us. We hope that you will commit to joining us at 10 a.m. in person or online as we gather for worship and explore the Significant and Wonderful world of miracles. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorship on Facebook Live\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorship on Youtube

You know\, topics like: what is “the cloud”? Where does my email go? Or even better\, how do you prove the existence of God? \nAs hard as it is to learn about these topics\, it can be even harder to teach them to others\, which is exactly the task that Jesus had before him as he lived among the people of Galilee. Jesus’ primary topic was the kingdom of God or heaven\, and to teach others\, he used a myriad of techniques. \nHow well do you understand the kingdom of God\, and why was it so important for Jesus to spend his whole life teaching about it? Join us for worship this Sunday at 10 a.m. online or in person as we explore the many ways that Jesus the Teacher seeks to help us understand this core concept of our faith. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorship on Facebook Live\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorship on Youtube\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
