There’s a saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together.” We are in community as we journey, especially for the long haul. This is the message of our new worship series “For the Long Haul.”

The Bible reading for this morning reminds us of Jesus’ teaching that ‘the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.’ We’ll be exploring what we do when it seems like others are getting more than their fair-share when we have ‘borne the burden of the day’ working in the fields.
