Beginning September 20, Carolyn Barton will be offering gentle yoga classes that are designed to be accessible to everyBODY. Formulated with mindfulness and proper yoga alignment to ensure safety, these classes will be easy to follow, filled with inspiration, lightheartedness, and warmth – an opportunity to reboot and reconnect with yourself, while staying well within your comfort zones.

Two classes will be offered:

  • Chair Yoga (Tuesdays at 1 p.m.) which uses the support of a chair to modify poses and make yoga accessible to people with physical disabilities or older adults who find typical yoga too challenging;
  • Gentle Yoga (Thursdays at 7 p.m.) which encompasses movement/stretching on the floor and standing asanas (poses) accompanied by flowing, soft music. (Bring your own mat and blanket)

The classes will be free for the month of September, and $10 each beginning in October.
