Three-part series to address the process of understanding what we have all been through during the pandemic, learning new language for what to call what we are experiencing, and creating space for healing forward into new life.

Part One – Understanding Our Stress Response to COVID-19

Thursday, June 10, 7:00pm

COVID-19 has significantly affected everyone in our communities.  As we emerge from this pandemic and begin to shift from surviving toward healing, many of us are thinking “What do I call what I am going through?” Dr. Peter Bolo, MD Interim Medical Director, Atlantic Behavioral Health and Beth Schulaka, LCSW will address the brain’s response to stress and trauma, the impact of “surviving” chronic stress, and identifying Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Part Two – What Does Healing Look Like?

Monday, June 14, 7:00pm

As we begin to heal from the past year of the COVID Pandemic, we ask ourselves what does healing look like? Some are healing from long term COVID symptoms, some are healing from loss and fear. We are all looking to heal and move forward. Sharon Kelly, LCSW will address the healing process at home, at work, in our communities and with loved ones and coworkers.
