It is our pleasure to welcome Chris Trigg as our new church custodian. Chris grew up as an army brat, with his father serving as a general. Throughout his youth, Chris traveled around the world. He came to Blairstown to work at YMCA Camp Mason as an Aquatic Director and has worked in the aquatics and summer camp profession for 45 years.
When he told his mother he was moving to Blairstown, he learned that she was born in a house on Carhart St and raised in Blairstown 100 years ago as a member of the First United Methodist Church of Blairstown. Out of all places in the world he could live in, he ended up in the home of his mother’s family!
In addition to his time at our church, Chris works part time at the Pocono YMCA as a swim instructor and coach. Chris and his wife, Judy, have lived in Hardwick for the past 25 years and have 9 grandchildren and 5 grown children. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, swimming, and scouting.
Please extend a warm welcome to Chris and help him to get to know our church family.
