One of the many local organizations that meets in our church is Social Connections, which offers events for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities. A young man from that group named Will started a business selling homemade items including elderberry syrup, personal care products, cleaning products, and animal treats just as the pandemic began. As part of his desire to give back, he has been selecting local organizations to receive a portion of his proceeds. This quarter, he has chosen the First UMC Food Pantry because of the wonderful hospitality our church has shown to him and his friends. Please take some time to visit Will’s website and consider making a purchase as a way of supporting one of our local residents and supporting our pantry. Visit Willswares today!
